Take Action Dear Friends, Our present society has created a tremendous economic engine that has created unprecedented wealth and technology but has done this through the mechanism of greed and ruthlessness. This comes at a great price; human suffering and global environmental degradation that threatens the survival animals, plants and our children. In spite of this, I believe there is hope. I believe in the fundamental potential for goodness that lies within each of us. I am deeply influence great visionaries such as Thich Nat Han, the Dali Lama, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King. Gandhi once said that "we must be the change we wish to see". Each of us as the power to do our part, through our actions, to create the world filled with fairness, compassion, and hope. Fair Workplace Council was created to provide a simple mechanism that restores compassion and empowers consumers to make a simple but conscious choice to allow fairness and dignity in the workplace. I urge you to join us, and do something to help heal the planet. Whether it is through our work or some other, either through simple action, or a deeper commitment.
